Directions from Iraklion (Nikos Kazantzakis) International Airport: Take the main road south towards Mires for approximately 55 kilometers (35 miles). Sivas village is approximately 5 kilometers (3 miles) before Matala. Public transport can also be taken from Iraklion city.
